The Year 10 Footballers have had a busy start to the season, competing in three competitions. The boys carried on where they left off in Year 9 with an excellent performance in a pre-season friendly against Isleworth & Syon, winning 3-1. This game served as perfect preparation, allowing the team to become familiar with their positions and the style of play. They took this form into the first Round of the Middlesex Cup, drawing 0-0 in an even contest against Alec Reed Academy before a convincing 4-3 win in the penalty shootout. This was followed by a 4-3 win against Heston in the first league game of the season. Well done to all the boys for an excellent start to the season, with a special mention to Steve, Sahil, Lem, Marwan and Malakai for their player of the match performances during the opening matches.
